Thanksgiving Visitors

Today, my oldest sister and her husband came to town. They live across the country in LA, so it was exciting to see them again.  Her husband (my brother in law) is a professional photographer/ director. He is even on YouTube, and might I add, quite popular too. His name is Julian Smith and his videos are the FUNNIEST. Anyways, so we were at my dads house, and out of the blue, he asks me if he can take a picture of me. Of course I was all "SURE." So we went out on the deck and he took out his 1970s camera (the coolest camera ever!) Its takes beautiful pictures.  So he had me sit down on the deck and stare out into the autumn forest behind my house, he took pictures from different angles, and he said that the pictures looked great, but that I wont be able to see them for a few weeks because the pictures were taken on film. Any ways I felt like a model! It was so cool. He said that he liked my "look" because I had a very unique face.  Back when I visited them in California over the summer, he had also taken pictures of me then.  I'm on his photo blog at www.donttouchmewiththat.com .  Funny name, right? Anyways, it's dinnah time.

J'adore le français!

So this past summer I went to Paris because it was like my sister's graduation and all that, and ever since I got back I've been a little too obsessed with France.  I loved it soooo much, so it's pretty understandable, but still.  Like I'm president of the French club, my room and Instagram are covered with France pictures, and I dressed up as a French girl for Halloween. There's a picture of Roni and I to the left at her mom's Halloween party.

That's really all I have to post about because nothing exciting has been happening...

P.S. Roni- keep your head up! Love you beautiful<3

Bittersweet

So, lately my life has been poopy.  I'm showing my mom my grades tonight, and they're the worst they've ever been. With 3 c's and  d, I dont know what she'll say. One reason they're like this is because I was gone for two weeks, and in some classes, I missed up to a whole unit, and when I got back, I would have to make up the Unit Test, and I wouldn't do so well... But that isn't an excuse. I had plenty of time to do make up work and such, but there was so much, and I forgot about some things, and it just didn't work out well. Tonight, I will understand any punishment my mom gives me, and hope to dear god, that my dad's won't be too much worse tomorrow.
Also, there was this boy I liked up til today, and i'm 99.99% sure he liked me all throughout 8th and 9th grade. He would text me and message me all the time, and to tell the truth , he's a tad weird.  I didn't like him then, and just recently I've been having these feelings for him. He made me laugh so much! We texted like evryday, and one of those days, I guess he was trying to brag, and he brought up how he made out with a girl at homecoming...I got jelous, but I tried not to show it, and change the subject, but then he told me that he didn't like her because the night after homecoming, the girl he had made out with, had started talking to this other guy and blah blah blah...ANYWAYS, shortly after that, we talked less and less, the conversations wouldn't be intersting or fun anymore, and would end randomly.  Just yesterday, he posted a picture of the conversation between him and the girl he kissed at homecoming over text on instagram.  I sorta got mad because he tagged her in the comment, and when I went to her page, I discovered that she is like a MEGA beauty- she looks exactly like Taylor Swift, its crazy.  And so I went to bed all  sad and stuff.  And then today I texted him "Hey handsome" (an inside joke) and he didnt answer. Ten minutes later he posted a picture of him and this girl again on instagram, but this time they were facetiming!  His caption was "She's soo hotttt" UGH! He would't even say something like that.. So I felt all mad, then I felt so stupid, because clearly he saw my text, but didnt reply, and now I just feel really independent because I realized that if he doesn't want to talk to me, then its his loss.

Christmas Celebrations Start Early In My House

Guys, this is my Christmas tree. It's not as ugly as it seems
(bad quality camera)
What are ya gonna do? ;)
...okay it'll be pretty when we put up ornaments.
*So I'm getting Invisalign shortly after Thanksgiving!  I'm really excited.
*'Hipsta' girls annoy me...
*I'm scared to go to signet considering I haven't gone this year and I think the teachers will be annoyed with me.
*Most of my teachers are annoyed with me.
*My grades weren't what they SHOULD have been for the first quarter.
*My dogs are freezing outside, I'll go let them in.
*I just let them in.
*My little brother just got home, and he showed me his school picture...he looks like an elderly man.
*Apparently, he gets around at school. I know this because one, he has a new "girlfriend" every week, and two, a few different girls have come up to me in school and asked me if my little brother's name is Rudolph* ... because he had gone out with each of their little sisters.
*Rudolph isn't really his name.
*Hence the "*".
*I should probly say something funny now.
*Sometimes I imagine that my puppy, Moon, is a human.  When she is in human form, she has a grape fetish, talks like an old man, and loves the color baby blue.  She is upset that her necklace (collar) is pink, but she understands why it is that color.
*That wasn't funny.

*My sister is, like, a professional writer/blogger and I hope she never sees this blog..she'll probly criticize me.

Have a nice day!

Delirium.

So right now Raina and I are having a sleepover, and we have reached delirium at a very early hour. 11:02.  Yeah... it all started when we were making a music video (we like to dance, okay?) and we thought we heard a gunshot.  On a basic level, we slid under my bed with my puppy, Moon, in our arms half crying - half laughing.  Then we decided that it was probably just fireworks (in the middle of November?) , and we started acting all hyper and delirious.  We then made a video of us making weird faces, laughing like pirates, doing Brittish accents, declaring that not only we, but our phones were also indeed best friends, and telling jokes.  The crash came, and we were exhasuted.  So we resorted to blog writing.

Attractive Guy

Today was my first day back to school after the election.
It was horrible - yet funny.
All  of the kids who are extrememly into politics were yelling and fighting with each other.
"OBAMA!"
"ROMNEY!"
"OBAMA!"
"ROMNEY!"
So annoying.  I wasn't all for one person to be the president of the United States, although I was leaning towards Obama. BUT IM NOT GETTING INTO ALL THAT.
On another note, I had PE today.  The class was playing vollyball, and im not good at that. So today I was really trying to learn so I wouldn't look like a dork.  And, well, this extremely attractive guy is in my class, and he's next to this pretty girl, and then I get all mad. And then the ball comes down to the person to my left, and he goes crazy to get the ball (because most boys get insane-o when playing any given sport) and he goes CRASHING everywhere and, freaking, steps on my foot, and I shout, and Attractive Guy, along with everyone else, stares at me. It didn't hurt that bad, but I was already upset that he was standing next to such a pretty girl, and the anger just bursted out of me.  It was embarassing.  Adding to that, my PE teacher is like a flipping Marine veteran or something, because she is the most ruthless person on this Earth, and she stares me down (the most frightening thing in the world).
Anyway, all in all, today was a giggly day. I laughed at everything, got a few weird looks, brushed it off, and laughed at the same thing again. The usual.
LOL JAYKAY, I wish it was the usual. I love laughing.

Have a good day!

What I Love

It's Friday, and I'm in the mood for a cheery little post.

Flowers are pretty cheery, aren't they?:) Here are some things that I love:

  • Taylor Swift's new album Red.  It really grows on you, I love it.
  • Baby bears, my favorite animal.
  • When my kitty Cocoa sleeps on my lap while I'm typing a blog post.
  • Getting my permit and driving for the first time ever.
  • Having an easy school day, including getting a 100% on my math test.
  • Wearing warm clothes in the crisp weather.
  • Writing letters to my pen pal in Hawaii.
  • Dancing to Celtic sounding songs with my best friend Roni, WHO WASN'T IN SCHOOL TODAY. WHERE WERE YOU MISSY? Okay, lost my cool there. Sorry. Anyways....
  • My slippers that have foxes on them.
  • Having a four day weekenddddddddd:)
Hope all the readers out there are having a happy day!

REvision

We've been wanting to write this post for the past 30 minutes, but we're in that
"lets clap and dance crazily to celtic sounding music all inspirationally"
kind of mood. But we've finally buckled down and got these first few sentences written. We have decided to change the direction of our blog just a tad bit.  We realized that it is quite hard to come up with something funny every week. Other people have such talent, but not us, not us.  So in conclusion, we will post whatever we feel, whenever we feel it's appropriate.  No more schedule, no more forgetting, no more nonsense. Now, YOU'VE TAKEN UP ENOUGH OF OUR TIME, LET US DANCE.

Can we please just be in that crowd of clapping, dancing people?

Cry Just a Little

*Happy Thursday!
*Fun Fact: My father just told me that my family traces back to a viking who helped invade and conquer Britain. Crazy, no? My hair is quite wild.. and now I understand-and accept-that... it is the viking in me.
*On another subject, today in math class, my teacher was anouncing our weekend assignment. She said, " Your homework will be due on MONDAY EVERYONE, MONDAY. Unless, of course we don't have school." Everyone then started asking why, and she explained, " ...because of the hurricane." I was shocked, and so were the rest of my classmates.
"HUH?!" "WHAT?!" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" "HURRICANE?!"
"Yes, class. A hurricane has b-" "- A HURRICANE?!" "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"
" If you all will be quiet, I will explain!" Everyone got silent. " A hurricane seems to be heading towards northern Virginia."
Quiet.
...and then, a tiny whisper from the back:
"yess."
I'm guessing he was happy that we might not have school? I think everyone else was more scared about the hurricane rather than happy about the possibility of a day off. I like storms so I was with the tiny voice guy.
*My mother is making tacos for dinner tonight.
*My puppies just [half] learned how to sit!
*TWO Halloween parties this weekend!

'til next week,

Finding the Humor in Mondays

Okay, so Roni's right, we haven't posted in a while, yadda yadda.  My excuse is AP World History.  Buuuut, let's get to this post and stop worrying about the past, eh?;)

Well, today's Monday, and let's face it, it's pretty boring.  But I discovered a new little trick for the Monday blues: to find one funny thing each day that most people normally wouldn't see.  Since I had a particularly boring weekend and boring day, I gave myself the challenge of finding two things. Here they are!

1) I saw a couple walking in the hall, and the two were practically identical.  Creepy? Yes. Hilarious? Again, yes.

2) I saw a little boy chasing an older boy around the halls at my orchestra practice, and they also (weirdly enough) looked like twins, too.

So there ya go!:)

P.S. I've noticed that my posts are more picture-y than Roni's, which means more exciting.  Muahahaha >:D

We're back!

Gracious! It's been a month since we last posted! Gracious! I do not know what Raina's excuse is (she's probly just lazy) but I have been so caught up with school AND my brand new puppies! They were born on July 4th. And they're just so adorable!  They're miniature goldendoodles (golden retrievers mixed with miniature poodles)  I'll post pictures of them another time!  The kids in my neighborhood go bezerk over them!
Anyways, so lately i've fallen in love with a Russian singer named Regina Spektor- well actually i've always loved her, but recently I made my own "mix-CD" of all of my favorite songs by her! I just can't stop listening to it!
Plus, i've also been in a really good mood lately because i'm in the middle of a really good book called The Perks of Being a Wallfower. Maybe you've heard of the movie that is coming out tomorrow? The book is amazing, and I know that most movies aren't as good as the book, but I have a certain feeling about this one ;) But then again, I always feel that way.
On another note, its storming outside.
I love it when it storms.
It's my favorite kind of weather condition.
And  now I must peacfully drift away into a dream.

Roni

Our Movie

A lot of friendships have a favorite movie that they always watch at sleepovers or whenever they are together.  Our movie happens to be the best movie ever... *drumroll* ...Fantastic Mr. Fox!  This movie is seriously so hilarious.  We've watched it a million times and it never gets old, never.  Beware, though, this movie is only for people with a certain sense of humor.  We watched it at Roni's birthday party, and while we were laughing our hindquarters off, the others were just sitting there with blank expressions on their faces.

Our favorite characters:

Kylie the opposum.

Petey. We love Petey. He's a sneaky one.

Kristofferson and Ash.

Friends

So my bestfriend Raina and I have bagillions of fofillions of inside jokes that we can hardly ever keep track of.  Therefore, some jokes slip in and out of.. 'style' almost.  One joke we had was called BirdBox. You see, one day we were outside for PE and Raina had seen a birdhouse and had called it a BirdBox on accident because she's a lunatic.  When I came home, I couldn't stop thinking and laughing about it.  My father was confused so I told him the joke and he didn't seen to get it.  That was back in 7th grade and we are now going into 10th grade.  Recently my father, always being late and out of 'style', decided that he would randomly pull the BirdBox joke out of nowhere along with a twist.  He would say
"You see that over there, yeah, that, THATS definitaly a BirdBox, fersher. BirdBox right there. You see it? Fersher. Yep."
And then he would BURST out laughing.  That joke hasn't been used in over two years.

When I was little...

...I always wanted one of those little treasure chests for lost teeth that they gave out in elementary school. Whenever another kid in my class lost a tooth, I felt a pang of jealousy that they got to choose which color treasure box they wanted.  I even had a dream once that I got one. Of course, when I woke up and realized that it didn't actually happen, I was heartbroken.  But don't worry, this story has a happy ending: I finally got a little purple treasure chest for the tooth I lost in third grade. :)

The Beginning

This is pretty much how we feel right now.  Writing a blog is harder than we thought.  We decided on making a blog together a few minutes ago after realizing Tumblr was a little too mainstream for our taste.  BlogSpot came to mind, and we thought it was much more professional-looking.  Even though we're just a couple of 15 year olds sitting in the middle of a light pink room with stuffed animals on the bed.
